Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Load and Lock website and storage services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Storage Services

Load and Lock provides self-storage units in Dubai, UAE. Rental agreements are subject to a separate Storage Rental Agreement which governs the specific terms of your unit rental, including access, permitted items and payment terms.

3. Minimum Rental Period

The minimum rental period is one calendar month. After the initial month, rentals continue on a month-to-month basis and require 30 days written notice for termination.

4. Prohibited Items

You may not store hazardous materials, perishable goods, illegal items, firearms, or any items prohibited by UAE law. Load and Lock reserves the right to inspect units where prohibited items are suspected.

5. Access

Access to your storage unit is granted 24/7 via our NFC system. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your access credentials. Load and Lock is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from lost or shared credentials.

6. Insurance

Load and Lock does not provide insurance for stored goods. Customers are strongly advised to arrange their own contents insurance. Our liability for damage or loss is limited to the terms stated in your individual rental agreement.

7. Payment

Rental fees are due monthly in advance. Late payment may result in restricted access. Unpaid accounts after 60 days may result in the contents being held or disposed of in accordance with UAE law.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
